dedicated :)

here's a little bit of fluff, as found on Trisha's Tripping over my Tongue:

What Kind of Reader Are You?
Your Result: Dedicated Reader

You are always trying to find the time to get back to your book. You are convinced that the world would be a much better place if only everyone read more.

Literate Good Citizen

Obsessive-Compulsive Bookworm

Fad Reader

Book Snob

Non-Reader

What Kind of Reader Are You?
Quiz Created on GoToQuiz

one or two questions could have had much better options, but overall it wasn't a quiz that made me feel I'd wasted two minutes of my life.

So, what kind of a reader are you?

I am an obsessive-compulsive bookworm. It also took me 3 minutes to do the quiz so . . . I am also a slow reader.

I like your blog (as you know) and they didn't ask me about that. . . so it's a faulty quiz.

I appreciate all of the comments you've left on my site. It's great to have you visit and comment.

I start all my sentences with I.

I hope you have a happy 20+09!

I had to check out your quiz results after you left the comment on my blog, lol. You're right, about the different amounts of red in the bars. Weird considering we're both "dedicated readers". ;)

somehow it labeled me as a "fad reader" - which is SO not the case. you are right, many questions had limited appropriate options.

regardless, my spectrum of books has definitely been increased (somewhat!) by your influence. and my pace - i'm still struggling to keep up at a fraction of your rate!

looking forward to reading all the future books from "willow tree,"

At one time I was literate. Now, I think maybe a prefix, "il" should be dropped in front of that word. I am now, at age 82, a Snob Reader.

A dedicated reader ... who currently is having a hard time finishing a book.

I turned out to be a Literate Good Citizen, which really isn't good enough considering my reading rate! Maybe it's because I'm as happy to read fluff as the serious stuff.
